Our Asphalt Details

Asphalt is a 100% recyclable material. Washtenaw County requires that the asphalt paving of a residential driveway must consist of approximately two inches of asphalt laid over a crushed stone base of four to six inches before compaction. Commercial Parking lots are required to consist of approximately 4 inches of asphalt laid over a crushed stone base of six inches in two separate lifts (passes) prior to compaction by Washtenaw County.
